As of November 2011, Taproot is currently undergoing some revamping. Pastor Dav Kott is still the Lead Pastor of Taproot Church and he and Janet are meeting on Tuesday nights in Silver Lake. If you are a member or regular attender of Taproot, you may request a login id and temporary password to join our online community city. In our online city you may connect with new friends, search and learn about groups you're interested in, learn more about the different ministries available at Taproot, discover your gifts and abilities and how best you can serve and plug in at Taproot. Also, you can view and print out your giving statements at your convenience.

Some people think that going to church means giving all of your hard-earned money to people who don't/can't manage money wisely themselves or continually demand more from the folks who call that church their home. We here at Taproot want to instruct each and every person what God's Word says about tithing - not us. Compare what we say with what the Bible says about tithing and you will find no difference. Tithing is an act of worship to God and it's also a declaration of sorts that says we agree that everything we have is given to us by God. So, since it all belongs to Him, where is the wisdom in holding onto what God has given us and then it becomes a trust issue...do we fully trust God and His promises to provide for our needs?
